(Optional) Spam Control

For Nexiwave to send emails as a sender from your domain, DNS TXT records for SPF and/or DKIM are strongly recommended. These records should be configured with your DNS provider. These records will ensure the proper delivery of Voicemail Transcription Emails to your customers (without being marked as spam or rejection).

DNS SPF Record

An example SPF TXT record is below. This DNS record, configured for an example star-voip.com domain, will allow Nexiwave to send emails with a "from" address from start-voip.com:

TXT star-voip.com "v=spf1 include:nexiwave.com ~all".

For more information, please check http://www.openspf.org/SPF_Record_Syntax, or contact us for details.

DKIM is an advanced way to fight spam, with support from almost all major email providers. Nexiwave can digitally sign your outgoing mails according to DKIM specifiecation. This significantly reduces any risk of emails being marked as spam. To set up DKIM, Nexiwave will first generate a signing key on your behalf. You are then required to publish the public signing key with your DNS provider, typically as a TXT record for "default._domainkey.yourdomain.com". Please contact us for setting up.
